We had a flat tire and no spare. We didn't even take food or water. What to do? Just keep painting. It was now evening but still hot with plenty of shimmering sun to start another painting. I especially liked the shadow cast by the cliffs onto the ocean.
Just before sunset, those who walked back to the barracks got an islander to bring the spare tire. Rescued at last.
